Even if two apartments are the same size, the quote may still differ. This is because the cost does not depend solely on square meters:
Number of rooms and roomlayout
Many small rooms mean more edges, corners, doors, and detailed work. Extra rooms such as storage rooms, offices, or hobby rooms also count.
General condition (lime scale, grease, nicotine, moisture)
The kitchen and bathroom are usually the sticking points. Burnt-on grease, lime scale, or nicotine deposits significantly increase the time required.
Windows, frames, rebates, andaccessibility
"Quick cleaning" of windows is not the same as final cleaning: frames, rebates, and hard-to-reach areas take time—as do blinds and slats.
Kitchen includingappliances
Ovens, refrigerators, and range hoods are often the most expensive individual items because they are prone to stubborn dirt and grime.
Bathrooms andgrout
A tidy bathroom can be cleaned in no time. A bathroom with calcified fittings, discolored grout, or traces of mold requires special treatment.
Additional areas and special requests
Floor polishing, initial care, carpet or upholstery cleaning, odor neutralization—these are extras that affect the price.
Region anddemand
In cities and regions with high demand, prices are often higher than in rural areas—even for the same services.
